Mt. Rubidoux clean up and Trail Lighting April 20th/21st 2019

This is a friendly reminder that Mt Rubidoux Trail Cleanup and Lighting is on Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21st. We will need to have at least 2 adults attend in addition to our Scouts. Please plan to participate!


April 20th -  Mt Rubidoux Trail Cleanup
  • Meet at dog park @ 8am
  • Bring water, gloves, hats and gardening equipment
  • Wear "Class B"
  • We will have a quick Scout House clean up immediately after Mt Rubidoux.  We need to mow lawn in back of Scout House, bring mower and grass trimmer.
April 21st - Mt Rubidoux Trail Lighting
  • Meet at Scout House @ 3am.  We will travel over to Camp Evans for check in.
  • Please wear full "Class A"
  • Bring a good working flashlight, water, jacket and a smile!
Scouts - Please make sure that you sign in for service hours and event patch.

Neal McGuffey is finally finishing up his Eagle Scout project at the Jurupa Discovery Center, he is landscaping a long strip in front of the Museum.  Please come on Saturday April 13th from 8am-noon to help him out.  Bring soil tilling devices, shovels, picks and gloves.  Gourmet Hot Dogs for lunch I'm told. 


When: Saturday April 13th, 8am-noon
When:  Jurupa Mtns Discovery Center, 7621 Granite Hill Drive, Riverside 92509

Meet at the Museum which is to the left of the main building above the parking lot.
Will be working with dirt and plants, wear dirty clothes and Class B, bring shovels, picks, hoes, brooms, and any type of soil tilling device.  Log service hours in your Scout book to count towards Rank and Community Service.

Lunch is offered at 11ish or after project.
